9 October 2008

Out from her mum’s: 8:57am (why can’t all mornings be like this!)

Back to her mum’s:3:29pm (had to drive back with the bike in the back of the car as it was raining and very windy – not good for a little girl on a small bike!)

My little girl had her bike this morning which was great (although it puts me on edge as we have to walk next to a main road!). So she rode to school and I tried to power-walk gracefully (if you can do such a thing!) and we got to school. Bit we never had a chat (as she zoomed off) so I missed that. When she stopped, we put her bike in the bike shed and we had a quick chat then.

She got a big bag of mixed dolls from her mum’s friend and she couldn’t wait to tell me about that. I also checked she had her homework, whcih she had.

It’s now pouring of rain so I can see us taking the car back and the bike having to go in the back!

Out from her mums: My little girl didn’t come out this morning – I assume because we had a Children’s Hearing today.

Out of her mum’s house: 9.10am (see below)

Back to her mums house: Her mum picked her up – no communication as usual.

I actually thought my little girl wasn’t coming out her mums house this morning or that we had missed her walking to school.

It was pouring of rain this morning so we drove my little girl to school and then sat with her in the car park for a little bit and we all had a good chat. There was nobody in the playground anyway as it was so wet so she wasn’t missing much there. We walked into the school with her this morning as she insisted we did but we didn’t go into reception and instead waited for her outside. The rain and calmed down by that point so it wasn’t so bad. We gave her a kiss and a cuddle when she came back out and we left her to go around to her door herself.

Out from her mums house:See below!

Back to her mums house: 3.25pm

We arrived at 8.45am at the usual place in the morning and we waited until 9.10am for my little girl. We called the school to see if my little girl had been dropped off at school by her mum. She had got to school okay. We found out in the afternoon that she came out so early that she waited for us for ‘ages’ and then walked to school as she thought she would be late!

29 September 2008

Out from her mum’s house: 9:01am (we walked her to school and I left my little girl at the school gates).

Back to her mum’s house: 3:25pm (we drove back as it was pouring with rain).

My wife couldn’t come with us this morning as she was working but we walked to school fine. We had a good chat about my little girl being at a French restaurant for her auntie’s birthday yesterday. She was amazed that people eat frogs legs but was laughing when she talked about the French waiters and their fancy (drawn on) mustache’s!

I did think X would pick her up in the afternoon as it was pouring with rain, but she didn’t. Even though we got back at 3.20pm, my little girl didn’t want to leave us and it took us 5 minutes to convince her to go home. We were a little sad as she wanted to stay with us (as my wife was off yesterday afternoon she wanted to play with my wife).

Back to her mum’s house: 3:28pm

My little girl told us this morning that Y has moved out of the house and has been out for a while now. He just visits and is living back with his brother again. Although eh did visit last night.

We had noticed over the last few weeks that his push bike isn’t outside the house in the morning’s now when we drive past. We did think maybe he had left but didn’t want to ask my little girl in case she felt awkward about it. She volunteered it this morning though.
